Rochester, New York, , February 18, 2019 (Newswire) -Michael Crowley, JD, RIT Research Professor for Innovation & Entrepreneurship and Co-Founder of ATVentureCenter and S. Manian Ramkumar, Ph.D. RIT - CET Interim Dean today jointly announced a new Certificate series of workshops in Technology Entrepreneurship.

“Our new series of continuing education workshops in technical entrepreneurship and advanced technology commercialization, in conjunction with the ATVentureCenter, is designed to create a new army of technology entrepreneurs in the Western New York Region and beyond. Our goal is to create a new breed of highly-trained professionals who will be armed with all the skills necessary to engage in university sponsored research or to reach into the vast collection of advanced technology patents available through RIT, and other universities, government sponsored labs, research centers and institutes, and bring those products and services to the global marketplace. These workshops are aimed at reenergizing the regional economy by bringing new advanced technology jobs.”
